Minecraft 1.12.1
Neoforge 21.1.213

Mods:
Architectury 13.0.8
Create 1.21.1-6.0.8
JEI 19.25.0.325
KubeJS 2101.7.2-build.295
Rhino 2101.2.7-build.81
Sodium 0.6.13
Thirst Was Taken 2.1.5

If I collect water in a bottle via an in world water block, I get a Dirty bottle of water. I can smelt that into an Acceptable bottle and then smelt that into Purified. As expected.

If I use a spigot from Create to fill the bottle, I get an Acceptable bottle of water (even though the water being pump from in world is Dirty). I am then unable to smelt that Acceptable bottle. If I try and shift click it into a furnace, it pops right back into my inventory. If I manually place it in the furnace, it stays but doesn't smelt.

If I remove KubeJS and it's dependencies, I still get the Acceptable bottle of water from the spout but I am able to smelt it into Purified.

Checking NBT data on both bottles was the same.

I did notice the same issue happens with buckets.

I originally saw this behavior playing on a server with a bunch of mods, and bottles filled from a kitchen sink block from Extra Delight behaved the same as ones filled from the spount, Acceptable quality but unsmeltable. But I was able to duplicate the behaviors with only the mods listed above and no scripts added to KubeJS.
