Automatically monitor new service

Hey there! Sorry if this is a stupid question but Im new with kube.

So I have all running, and prom is successfully monitoring the cluster, but if I try to add a new service which has /metrics it is not being automatically added as a target to prom. Shouldn't it be the case? Or do I manually have to add the service?
