Error on versions 7.0.37 to 7.0.33

upon opening I get this error:
System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

There is more to the error as well. Only Spacechem is listed.
Am I missing a dependency?
Running Windows 7.

I'm not sure what the issue is, it should not be dependency related.

Unless you can replicate this issue on Windows 10 or 11 I'm not really interested in pursuing it since Valve ended Steam support for Windows 7 and 8 just a touch over a year ago.

Okay, while I said I wouldn't pursue the problem, I think I have may have fixed it regenerating the SSL certificates for my domain name. Let me know if the issue is gone.

Using same version, no change in operation. Checked on another machine, same result. Steam still works fine on Windows 7 despite the nag for the last year. Steam did change something on their end as I used to be able to modify achievements 6 months ago. I have a Windows 10 Machine as well, and guess what it works.
I guess I'll have to use Windows 10 to apply changes to achievements unless you discover what changes Steam did to break it.

Who knows, maybe Steam has two versions, one for Windows 10 and another older one for Windows 7. That would be my only guess.
If you do not pursue the issue, I fully understand. I'll check back if you discover a work around. Even the Desktop Authenticator seems to have changed here on Github, so I assume there is something coming down the pipe. Most of the updates are intentional to break compatibility, geared to force people to upgrade. It is complete nonsense.
