Will SAM get me banned on steam

only on Valve Anti Cheat enabled games, if you try on VAC enabled games, then you could get vac banned, games like garrys mod? no.

If you're not running the game simultaneously alongside running SAM there should not be any danger. That being said, I am not Valve or Rockstar so I cannot make actual guarantees.

As long as I don't get a Steam profile ban or game ban that can be seen on my Steam page, it's okay.

Single player games in general should be fine, as well as oline games without AC.
But I would certainly not use it on any Valve games and online games with AC, like CoD, BF, GTA, FIFA etc.
