auto donate-to-charity feature

Talking with friends and potential users, a significant number of people independently suggested letting users automatically donate some of their Gilded earning to charity.

It's not that hard of a technical problem, and I think it would go a long way.

logistics:

• we can give the user a config setting, called donationRate, 0 < x < 1, for a percentage of their earnings to automatically donate to charity.
• the whole thing is opt-in so we're not forcing anyone to give anything away.
• we can tell them their total earned for donation, as another incentive for them to continue using the service.

benefits:

• it keeps the signal-to-noise filter in place
• it immediately defuses cynical notions of the service
• it might allow senders to feel more comfortable paying for messages, knowing that their money is going to charity too
• it makes the whole product's narrative easier to market
• the revenue earned by any one user of the service is probably not all that substantial, anyway, so the good-will earned with this may be more valuable overall
• and making the whole service more emotionally palatable might end up re-couping the losses with additional usage, anyway
