Rethink the "About" pages #2058
Description
At the moment these pages mostly compare Git to SVN. That's no longer relevant, because Git has gained enough popularity. Rethink useful information to host there. Examples come to mind:
- Git hosting forges (and remove the logos from the landing page?)
