Applying a local branch rewrites all commits with new commit message

When adding a local repo that already contains some branches and applying them to the workspace, gitbutler rewrites all commits adding a "Change-Id: ....." line.

I tested all releases from 0.16.10, they all have the same issue. However I noticed that if I'm already on a branch (that is, not the target branch), the commits of the current branch are not rewritten. Only branches applied after the first opening of the project suffer from this behaviour.

We are so sorry for the hassle!

This is due to a new feature to support Gerrit. It falsely auto-detected that Gerrit is in use, which causes change-ids to be added whenever GitButler creates a commit.

That is possibly something to change as well.

In any case, CC @krlvi, we'd definitely want to fix this very quickly.

It seems that version 0.17.3 fixed the issue!
I had to edit the .git/config and set gerritMode to false, but have had no issues after that.
