copilot-cli gets stuck after multiple requests in the same session #253

Describe the bug
I asked copilot-cli to write a piece of software.
Then something was wrong with it and I asked to correct many times.
After 10 such requests copilot-cli's "Thinking" icon stops flashing and remains without change for very long periods of time. copilot-cli doesn't respond to Ctrl-C.
It eventually gets moving and then stops again. This happens again and again across sessions.
Another long session was also running at the same time. Not sure whether this is related.
Version 0.0.330
Rocky Linux and FreeBSD 14.3 both exhibit this behavior.
