Show error when node version is too low

Description

Sometimes we get bug reports with strange behaviour from people running the CLI on node versions that are too low. We could consider throwing an error when the version in process.version is too low. The downside here is that maybe we restrict people unnecessarily.

I think there are a number of tools out there that do this already.

Thank you for your issue! We have categorized it as an enhancement, and it has been added to our backlog. In doing so, we are not committing to implementing this feature at this time, but, we will consider it for future releases based on community feedback and our own product roadmap.
