What happened?

when i went to print my 2024 model, shapeways immediately accepted my earlier ones (from the website) but says the newest one is not printable. What is this extension doing that’s different from the website?

Hi @ljharb, the extension was rewritten so there will be some differences. Can you provide any additional insight/guidance (e.g. errors, examples, etc.) on why the model is not printable?

Which version of the CLI did you use to export this, and any other details would be helpful, thanks!

I have no idea - i just upload it to shapeways, and they say it’s not printable without any other explanation.

I’m using the latest version of the cli.

Is there any way to get access to the old code so it needn’t be rewritten, and i can get the same models as before? I have an existing physical collection that i can’t trivially update :-)

Thanks for creating this tool.

I've generated the tool using the latest version and tried to 3D print it to JL3DPCB and they came back saying that there are gaps between the green and grey part as shown in the attachment.

Is there a fix for this ?.
