Change coding framework (Kilo <-> Opencode) - keep Spec Kit (data)

If I am currently working on a project with Kilocode and using Spec Kit (https://github.com/github/spec-kit), can I also change the developer framework (e.g., switch from Kilocode to OpenCode or Cursor, Windsurf) without losing data from Spec Kit, i.e., the project specifications, etc.? If so, what do I need to consider and do when switching (e.g., reinitialize the project...)?
