If you run out of tokens in claude code, is there an easy way to continue in Github Copilot (VScode)

Im testing seeing if I can continue using vscode and copilot by dragging the specs/ folder into the chat box and asking it to read everything carefully and to continue where it left off.

It seems to be doing what I ask of it, but just wondering if anyone has any better ideas on how to do this or if it could be missing vital things because its not been properly initiated with copilot (was initiated to use claude code)
