Compilation of C/C++/Fortran

How could I fix following error when I run: install.packages("gmum.r")

Package which is only available in source form, and may need
compilation of C/C++/Fortran: ‘gmum.r’
These will not be installed

I installed CodeBlocks but I don't know how to use it. Can I use 'gmum.r' in R?

Hi Maryam,

This sounds like a problem with environment variable setup. (e.g. SOURCE column set to FALSE in /etc/R/repositories or something similar).

Please try this one:

install.packages("gmum.r", type="source")

You can also try to build it directly from GitHub if your setup makes other problems:

install.packages('devtools')
devtools::install_github("gmum/gmum.r", ref="master")
