Am looking into running Merlin on an RT-BE92U in Japan on a connection that depends on v6plus for the WAN connection type, so I'm curious whether v6plus will work under Merlin on this router in Japan.
Running stock firmware (3.0.0.6.102_38980) right now, and reason for wanting to try Merlin is that every week or so I end up having to manually click "Update MAP" alongside the WAN connection type setting to keep the router functional (which I'm getting tired of).
I take it Merlin generally preserves stock WAN types but there's some ambiguity around support for this setting on Japanese hardware.

Can anyone clarify?
