Incorrect commit count in timeline after force-push #36905

Related to #36653. Steps should be these, untested:
- Create 1 commit, push
- Create 2nd commit, push
- Amend 2nd commit, force-push
- UI should show the 2 commits that exist on the branch but only shows 1, the count in header is correct already.
