Text overflow in the wizard

Hi! Don't know if you're aware of this issue, but the wizard's text area is too small to fit the explanation text of a lot of apps. Some examples:

absolutely not aware no. i craft all of those to match the space. tested on my Mac mini and MBA 13, both which have actually larger text than default so i was expected it to be ok on almost everybody's machine??? what's your resolution? any tweaks in the displays? text size? some accessibility options?

which version of macOS also. SwiftUI is buggy af especially on Tahoe but i've handled that and running Tahoe stable on my mini and dev beta on my MBA and all good. seems in your case the height is a bit smaller and it truncates the last sentence wtf!

I've got a 14" MacBook running Tahoe 26.3, and while not entirely sure, I never tweaked the accessibility. If anything, I made stuff smaller =) Here's a screenshot of the settings app side-by-side for scale (is that a pun?)

I definitely can see the space there is for the last line, which probably is just a bit too small to fit it.

interesting observation: changing the resolution has no effect and doesn't move the text by even one character (essentially the whole window is rescaled with everything in it), and changing text size in accessibility settings doesn't change anything in kV at all.

bizarre. they're all good here, which is why i released them this way lol:

gimme some time to figure out how to emulate a 14", or at least find a way to reproduce. i'm guessing some anchor issues with SwiftUI but i need to find a way to reproduce. will update you. thanks for reporting!

oh btw was quite surprise to see that Homerow wasn't handled coz the hell i even bought a lifetime license to support Dexter after he released it a few months after Wooshy 🤣 and yeah, the guy who bought the business actually just changed the bundle ID. so The Wizard doesn't recognize it anymore. will fix this for the next release.

it's notarized so just replace kV in your Applications folder by this one and you're good to go.
go to The Wizard, add an app. next to the Skip button you'll have a plus and a minus to change The Wizard's height. i kinda expect you to only need to add one or max two pixels to fix the issue. but wanna be sure.

i think one or two years ago? was made originally by Dexter. after two years working on kV i was able to start using it daily and push it online but i found that it worked well ONCE i was on a UI Element. but i had to reach it first. i saw Vimac made by Dexter, but too slow and didn't like the hint thing. i wanted to type where i wanted to go. with the macOS APIs knowledge i got from building kV i built Wooshy :)) then a few months later Dexter released Homerow, basically Vimac 2.0. Homerow was still only using hints and Wooshy only text, but Dexter added text search also later. Wooshy tho is stubborn, refuses to do the hints 😂 so yeah, kinda different spirits. most people prefer the hints, but too me it brings friction. 1) i like my screen clean 2) deciphering hints adds friction. i prefer typing where i wanna go. straight from my brain to the UI Element!

that's an interesting prespective xd makes sense, hints have quite a bit of friction but I'm already using tridactyl in firefox so have to get used to it anyway...

OH. wasn't expecting that. i think with all the different resolutions that Apple now has with all their different Macs they round up and down their @2x pixel things (which is why some of their own apps have their Settings options misaligned lol) so i was expecting 169 or 170 🤔 lemme check the width also then to be sure. sending another release soon.

what's kinda crazy also is that on my machines the text gets truncated at 162 lol

@HosseyNJF what about when you have no app in the placeholder? does 173px shows the text fully? what about 172px etc.
