Hello @IanBadcoe, GdUnit4 has its own update notification feature. I am not familiar with this update button under “Edit Plugin”; it must be new. In my opinion, the button currently has no function, and the |

Hi, you should read the C# install instructions to complete your test setup. |

Neither of these is a remotely valid thing to say, I'll look for some other system that suits my needs... |

@IanBadcoe I don't understand, what's the problem? I am always open to improvements, but please be constructive. Please also bear in mind that I maintain this project in my spare time and do not earn any money from it. Best regards, Mike |

I am just looking to use some unit-tests for the first time with Godot and I found gdUnit and it seemed suitable because it has C# support...
Initially I only found the older 5.0.3 asset, so I tried that, it seemed to install OK but when enabled the console said there was a newer version and to use "update" in the setting... not sure if I found the right settings but I found this:
but it did not do anything...
Then I realised there was a newer version and I looked again in the assets and found the newer one. Disabled the old one, removed the whole folder, restarted, downloaded the new one and enabled it.
The console still says there is a new one and the update button in the settings still doesn't do anything, additionally there is now an additional error in the "output"
This is now with the latest Godot, stable. mono... Previously I was on 4.4.1 but I updated after the older gdUnit appeared not to be working, it is possible that is why the newer one appeared...
Basically I just need some info on whether any of this is expected and whether the plugin is actually working or not. I'm going to assume it is and dive into the docs and create a test test or two, just in case that throws up more oddities I wanted to get a query posted here so that it could be pre-emptively working it's way around whatever timezones people are in...
Thanks,
Ian
