allow #comments after \ line break

I think it would be useful to be able to add comments after a \ line break. eg:

if a > 100 \   # this checks player age
or b < 3:      # this checks pets
    print("Either you're really old or you don't have enough pets")

It would be better to just have C style comments like:
/*this is a comment*/
