Harbor Upgrade fails pvc

When I run a upgrade command then the old registry container is not deleted and the new registry container tells me following error:
Warning FailedAttachVolume 9m5s attachdetach-controller Multi-Attach error for volume "pvc-a45d52ee-3025-44e5-a488-4a4b89760bba" Volume is already used by pod(s) harbor-registry-5fdb5496bc-x6qmp

So I have to delete the old pod manually. Is this a wanted behavior? I do not think so.

Helm Version: 1.18.1

Any idea how to debug the reason for it further?

can you give more info, whats your helm chart values. ??

1. Whats your deployment strategy?
2. are you using RWM or RWO for the registry pvc??

if you are using RWO you should set your deployment strategy to Recreate. which may fix the problem.

Hi @Umirek ,

Upgrade it self would not cause this problem if you have previously succeeded installation before. Have you change the registry.replicas while upgrading?
