It's pain if not all is working same as on classical Android

Suggested Solution

On AndroidTV we have a classical remote control and not all UI elements not accessible (main window the complete left hand frame) , the UI itself looks really great on 40 Zoll TV's.
If you need permission for notifications, this classic Android solution didn't work here too.

This App supports AndroidTV completely and is also FOSS, so um maybe able to adopt stuff from there

+1 for this request as it is currently not possible to move to the left part of the UI with remote arrows in order to access the search and playlists
On top on my TV (Philips 55OLED934/12), once installed the App does not appear in the list of all Apps. Not sure this is linked to Musify so I will try to find a workaround.

I answer to muself for the pb of sideloaded Apps not appearing in the Android TV list of App.
you can use this website :

Generate another APK using these parameters :
App Name : Musify
App Package : com.gokadzev.musify
App Logo : you can download this one

Once the APK is generated, simply install it on the TV. This one will appear in your list and is simply refering to the real Musify App.
