How to convert Gemma-3n to .task model

Description of the bug:

I want to deploy my fine-tuned gemma 3n to android phone. But i can not find the script to convert gemma-3n transformers model into to run in AI Edge Gallary. (only found gemma3 code and documentation).

I would like to know how to convert gemma-3n model to .task file, thanks !

I apologize for the delay in my response, At the moment we do not have example or conversion script to convert Gemma 3n model to .tflite so this will be considered as feature request it seems like there is limitation that prevents the export of the Gemma-3n model as a single, fully functional .tflite file. This is due to the exporter lacking certain required kernel implementations related to MatFormer architecture.

We have logged this as a feature request for the relevant team to address. While we will provide an update as soon as we have new information, we are unable to offer a specific ETA at this time.

Once you've .tflite file then use the MediaPipe bundler utility to package the .tflite model its corresponding tokenizer model, and essential metadata (like start/stop tokens) into a single .task file. This .task file is the final, self-contained artifact you will use in your application, I believe similar like gemma3 as shown in this official documentation
