Hi all,
I've been using and enjoying Gemini CLI for quite over a month. With the update pushed yesterday, now my experience just became a nightmare.
Error
API Error 403 PERMISSION_DENIED "You must be a named user on your organization's Gemini Code Assist Standard edition subscription to use this service…"Expectation
As an individual Free Tier user, I expect the CLI to use the individual/personal flow (or the standard Gemini API) without requiring a Code Assist Standard/Enterprise “named user” license.
My attempts (on my machine)
Result: I still hit a Code Assist path and get the 403 above (requires "named user on Standard edition").
PLEASE FIX OR HELP ME FIX THIS.
