If you're vibe coding an app that primarily works with one or a few api's, is it recommended to just tell gemini to save the full docs locally in a folder in your project before you even get started, and then tell it to reference them in GEMINI.md for development?
The agent seems not so good at making sure it's using up-to-date docs for context (for example, just a day or two ago, it implemented gemini api by the deprecated python handle
google-generativeaiinstead of moderngoogle-genai), plus it seems better to just have a local reference anyways. Maybe it already does this under the hood? If it does, it doesn't seem like it persists across conversations or anything...Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
