Removing tool output and decreasing verbosity

I asked this question in my linux kernel workspace

and it spits out a series of not-so-valuable information in boxes

How do I get read of these tool messages and have only the result show up in CLI. I mucked around with various settings, but still can't get rid of these boxes and pointless information.

From my point of view, there should probably be a clearer split between progress visibility and final answer verbosity. A lot of people want to keep the useful outcome while hiding noisy tool chatter that does not help once the task is complete. If there were a setting for concise tool progress or summary only mode, that would likely solve this better than removing execution transparency entirely.
