I added memories that turned out to be utterly useless, which made me laugh so hard. It was such a hilarious realization that all my efforts had no effect at all.

Are you able to show what you were doing? like what the memory was, what is in your GEMINI.md(s), what prompt you used that you expected the memory to work?

It may sound banal, but you may need to say "review the session so far" . Most AIs live in the present, so to say, the future tasks are more interesting for them.
