How to use "Login with Google" on a headless machine?

Hi everyone,
I have successfully installed and used the Gemini CLI with the "Login with Google" option on a local machine. I would like to do the same on a remote machine, where I don't have a web browser available to log in with my account. Do I have to use one of the "Gemini API Key" or "Vertex AI" options?

I'll answer myself: the setup procedure has been updated, and now an authentication URL is provided to copy and paste (it wasn't like this at the time of my question), which returns an activation code. Thanks!
