Gemini trying to be overly witty but not really achieving anything

It has been trying to fix my tests while spitting out these statements, running for several minutes. Its not really progressing much as well.

Has anyone seen this?

These witticisms are programmed into Gemini CLI and are not coming from the model (you can see them here). We show these when the model hasn't sent us any thoughts yet. The fact that you're seeing these after 7 minutes of waiting indicates issues communicating with the model. If you hit ctrl-O do you see any relevant log messages?

Thanks for getting back. I think I did see those error messages. Are those persisted somewhere? I had closed my session.

They are not stored anywhere, unfortunately.

Hit ctrl-o and then ctrl-s to expand to full screen and copy all of it. You should search for similar issues first to avoid creating duplicates.
