I have been testing gemini_cli for several days, and I find it to be an incredible tool. On top of that, it's free. I hope they don't discontinue it and that I can always have it available for my projects. If it already has such spectacular features and very few flaws at launch, I can't even imagine what its future evolution will be like. I wouldn't miss it for the world! I think I speak for everyone on the team when I say: Thanks! We very much look forward to doing lots more work on GCLI. That said, even in the unlikely case that Google decides to stop supporting it, Gemini CLI will still be available as it is Open Source so it's not going away any time soon.
