Did something drastically change? Gemini code - logging in with google account, ran out of token usage within 30 mins??!

Please help me,

A few days ago i built an entire app from scratch with the same login method as above.

Today i tried to build another app using the same login, and within 30 mins of usage it gave me an error saying i have reached usage limit.

Methods of login used

-> Ubuntu
-> in ide terminal ->npx https://github.com/google-gemini/gemini-cli
-> /auth -> login with google
-> runs out of token usage for day, after barely 20 mins.

Is anyone else encountering this issue and successfully able to solve it?

Yes i am using my google account to connect.

The tokens run up to 3million very fast within 1 hour for google, idk how its calculated and eating up so many tokens, whereas when using claude code i can run the exact same prompt and even complete the project in a 200k tokens that claude offers.
