Does the New Temporary Chats Announcement apply to CLI also?

Got this email from google. CLI never had the option to keep chats private before. Does it now?

No but adding that to the CLI might be a good idea. It's basically how sub-agents approaches work (whether they're in-process or out-of-process). Each sub-thread starts off with its own prompt and instructions, with no polluted context from other sub-processes going on...
