/-key inconvenience on qwertz kbd and why no ^key shortcuts for frequent CMDs?

I admit I didn't try hard if there are easy customizations, I only know the slash is a "pain" (1st world problem ;-) ) on eg a German keyboard as it needs the shift key.
Any easy way around this?
And while I'm at it: How about mapping key shortcuts to gemini-cli, especially in VS Code (terminal)!?
