"Failed to get the current working directory" error when running tests in CI/CD

My unit tests will not begin to execute and the build fails with the following error:

[ FATAL ] /qnx-libs/googletest/googletest/src/gtest-internal-inl.h:685:: Condition !original_working_dir_.IsEmpty() failed. Failed to get the current working directory.

I am using version 1.10.1
