Linux Quickshare Implementation and Client

Hello! I came across this library while looking at quickshare for Linux desktops, and it looks very promising. I wanted to know whether this could be used to create a desktop client for quickshare and also interface with android (which uses google IDs). I see there are some Linux backend implementations in progress, but I am not sure if this library is enough to create such an application.
To be honest, this library is huge and daunting. I am still poking around and will try to play with it a bit. Any comments on where to look would be appreciated! Thanks a lot!
