Connections API Support for WearOS

Why is this needed?

I am looking for a way to share data between WearOS devices. Nearby connections seems like it would work perfectly for this case, but seems like it only works on Android phones and tablets. Can we get support for it on WearOS? Is there a reason it's not already supported on WearOS?

It should be available on WearOS (although we only use Bluetooth at the moment; WiFi is more limited on WearOS and we haven't explored what works/does not work so we've left it off for now). Is it not working when you try it?

I based my statement off the fact that WearOS isn't shown as supported on: https://developers.google.com/android/guides/setup?device=wear-os#dependencies and my first test failed... but based on your statement I've gone back to test a second time, and it does look like it works. I must have done something wrong in my first test. It would still be nice if that documentation reflected that nearby does work on WearOS.
