Request: Enable automatic approval and merge for generated PRs (like google-api-ruby-client)

Hello Google API team 👋

Thank you for maintaining the Elixir Google API client — it’s essential for Elixir developers using Google services in production.

However, many auto-generated PRs in this repository remain open without being merged, leaving the client out of sync with the latest API definitions.

⚠️ Problem

Dozens of auto-generated PRs are open indefinitely

No recent releases

Some APIs (e.g., Play Developer API v2/v3) are outdated

💡 Suggestion

In the google-api-ruby-client repo, auto-generated PRs are automatically approved and merged.
Since these PRs are deterministic and reviewed at the generator level, it would make sense to apply the same automation here.

Could you enable auto-approve + auto-merge for this Elixir repository to keep it up to date automatically?

Quick follow-up 👋

It looks like the Elixir regeneration pipeline has completely stopped since April 2025,
while other language clients like google-api-ruby-client continue to receive automated updates (latest: Oct 19, 2025).

This might be related to the same automation gap mentioned above — perhaps the Elixir job in the internal synthtool pipeline got paused?

Could you please check if the automation for this repository is still active or needs to be restarted?
