Mocking metadata server #51
Description
I know this isn't strictly cloud ops, but it could be useful to have a fake for the metadata server, especially for testing resource detection. For instance, the metadata server is being used here.
I found this existing project, GCE Metadata Server Emulator, that could maybe be used.
Is this at all in scope? Also wondering how useful this would be to others!
