Endless progress bar on the main screen

I have an endless progress bar on the main screen: maps are essentially not displayed. How to solve the problem?

Try using solution project instead of starter.

I met the same issue when testing on starter as well, but after swtiching to solution the map shows after loading for a few seconds. You just need to create a secrets.properties file in your top-level directory and fill in your api key.

Make sure that you have enabled SDK for Android service on Google Maps Platform before testing.
