New (old) gopcua maintainers

Dear community,

As of today I am handing this project over to Jonathan Camp (@kung-foo) from Intellecy and Jeremy Theocharis (@JeremyTheocharis) from United Manufacturing Hub (UMH). Both have been long time users and contributors of the project and I am very happy that they both agreed to maintain the project.

For me, a 7 year journey with OPC/UA comes to an end which started with this first commit to Yoshiyuki Kurauchi's (@wmnsk) project who laid the foundation for using native Go in large scale manufacturing.

    uacp: set SendBufferSize in HEL message

    The UACP handshake fails when connecting to the open62541 server
    and a SendBufferSize of 0. The server never responds with an ACK.
    Setting the SendBufferSize fixes this.

A lot of people have helped and found bugs or added features but a couple of people deserve a special mention:

• @dwhutchison who wrote all the crypto code
• @danomagnum who wrote most of the server code

Thank you all for building something cool and pushing Go into new places. This certainly raised eyebrows.

Is there a plan for the continued development and/or maintenance of this project? Is anyone in particular taking on the maintainer responsibility for the server code?

yes! we just need to find the time for it. currently working on #824
