Basic implementation questions

Hello All,
Thank you for creating this.
Apologies if this is an obvious questions but I cannot figure that our from documentation.

I am want to use the bottom sheet view as way to present details.
It means that I want to trigger bottom sheet from a button on the page which is not a part of bottom sheet component.

1. I cannot figure out if I should try to create a new screen that is a bottom sheet and try to route to it with react navigation or simple a component that is a part of the page only opened through this button?
2. I cannot figure out which type of the component I should use (Modal vs Regular View)?
