#145 should have resolved this.

@martincostello should a release of the otel Cassandra package be triggered? As that would then enable the removal of the explicit Cassandra package reference.

It could be, but it wouldn't remove the need for us to override because of #202 means there no point in removing it.

Feel free to open an issue to request a newer version of the Cassandra driver is released.
