Do we need to support operator deployments?

As we move more Act 3 apps towards using this workflows, do we need to support operator deployments [like this one](https://github.com/grafana/slo/blob/main/.github/workflows/deploy-operator.yml) or - keep them separated as the operators are not really relevant in this context?
