Description
Describe the bug
I have been using this command to upgrade systems since Tahoe it was released but as of late last week, it is downloading what appears to be a version of Tahoe incompatible with the hardware, but the hardware is well within the Tahoe support window.
/Library/Management/erase-install/erase-install.sh --os 26 --update --reinstall --min-drive-space=36
To Reproduce
I run the upgrade via a Jamf Self Service policy. It first installs erase-install 39.1 and then executes this command. /Library/Management/erase-install/erase-install.sh --os 26 --update --reinstall --min-drive-space=36
Expected behavior
upgrade will hang and eventually time out after an hour. If you launch the downloaded Install macOS Tahoe.app from the applications folder, it will say the hardware is incompatible.
