Contact photos GAL

Hi,
Is there a way to update users' contact photos on their mobile phones based on the data from the Global Address List (GAL) in Microsoft Exchange/Office 365? Specifically, I’m looking for a solution that would automatically sync the user photos stored in the GAL with their contact cards in Outlook, and subsequently on their mobile devices — so that up-to-date profile pictures appear during calls, messages, or when browsing the address book on a smartphone.
If anything is unclear, I’d be happy to clarify.

I update the picture only once a week since this is more than enough for our use case.
This script is not optimized so it can take a while based on your tenant, but can at least help you in the right direction.
You need to make some adjustment to connect to graph (Exchange is deprecated), don't forget about Graph permissions (User.ReadWrite.All) in my case.

Make sure these variables are filled:
$clientID
$TenantID
$CertName

There are two parts to the script, first is download all pictures from users that have a picture.

Add in the EWSContactSync.ps1 after the [Fetch Global Address List & Mailbox List] section

Secondly it is time to add all the pictures.
In the EWSContacts\Module\functions\contacts\Sync-ContactList.ps1 add after the create section to include the photo upload.
