Remember Stitching's gateway schema can be considered as a standalone GraphQL Schema so yes. You can use this kind of transform to add federation metadata to stitching gateway;

I am sorry, maybe my question was not clear. Let us assume that we have two microservices (User & Auth) to be stitched in a single gateway. Is it possible to run each on a separate server i.e. User: http//localhost:4001, Auth: http//localhost:4002, and finally the stitched gateway on http//localhost:4000?
