Unknown publisher Windows installation

If you are in the security business as a company then surely you will have to provide your installers with an official publisher name. In 2023 you should not want to do this as a company.

Why not bother signing up with Microsoft as a publisher? After all, a large part of the users work with Windows. So you have to focus on this as well.

Or am I seeing this all wrong?
