Invert spindle output

Hi i want to switch the spindle on and off automatically but I noticed that the output is inverted. With the code M3 the spindle turns off and after the code M5 the Spindle turns on. How can i invert the spindle output?

Use $16 to invert spindle signals. $16=1 to invert enable.

$$=16
    0 - Spindle enable (1)
    1 - Spindle direction (2)
    2 - PWM (4)
Reboot required.
