Hi, sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place, but I am new to GitHub.

I have an issue with the grblHAL web builder version v0.9i - updated to patch 20250514.

I am trying to enable the keypad and display I2C plugins. Try as I might I cannot get the keypad to identify itself on the $I command...

The extended settings are not appearing either...

I have attached the json file from the web builder...

Hopefully someone can tell me what I am doing wrong.

Which keypad firmware?
FYI the plugin does not identify itself if the keypads I2C address is not responding, I'll have to add to the plugins with a "not connected" message when not...

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I am planning on creating my own firmware/keypad. I have seen your instructions in other posts and it looks quite straightforward.

Sorry I should have tried to see if it worked, seeing the display plugin advertise itself as not there left me thinking the keypad was not enabled.

Thanks again for getting back to me, it works really well - just need to decode all the binary sent back from the display interface now :)
