Typing multiline prompts

I've noticed that the previous "shift+enter" I used to trigger a new line in the claude code input doesn't work in Neovim. What would be the bets way to type out multiline prompts?

So far I've found that pastes work, so I generally type in a buffer, copy it and paste it, but wondering if there's a simpler way.
