Examples not working on Safari, fine on Chrome (using OSX)

I came across this library - sound great!
However I am currently developing on my Intel iMac, and the examples wouldn't show on Safari. Then I tried Chrome - perfect.
I read another issue where the opposite was happening (BTW great explanation), I even clicked on your repo-without twgl on Safari - no drawing.
I've also discovered my project was showing fine on Safari stopped working, but shows fine on my iPad.

How old is your Intel iMac? It's possible that Apple stopped supporting it and Chrome didn't?

The samples all run on my M1 Macbook Pro in Safari. I know they also run on my 2019 Intel/AMD Macbook Pro on Safari or at least used to. I'm not near that machine and won't be for a while.

If you go to https://get.webgl.org does it say Safari supports WebGL on your machine? Also, do any of the three.js examples run?

Hi It says iMac Pro (2017) Processor: i5 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 2GB Memory: 16 GB macOS: Ventura 13.6.9 However it is a Hackintosh with same hardware as listed in Linux and Windows (using OpenCore Legacy Patcher.
