produce version 11 is not supported

We've started seeing this error with new connections through the proxy :

'produce version 11 is not supported'

I see a previous change was needed to add support for produce version 10 - is something similar required to resolve this?

produce version 12 was added to v0.4.2 according to the diff between those 2 versions
